I like the idea of individual frames. You could make it like a wall boarder. I did something like that for my baby girls room...looks so cool

For Y, you could do Boshi from Super Mario RPG. He is a yoshi, so does that count?

This thread has inspired me to make my own video game alphabet patterns! ^_^ I've basically made each letter a stand alone 3x5 piece (approx. size). So far I'm up to letter H. I'll share the pics and if others are interested let me know and I'll post the patterns. ^_^
