Pattern Index

Post by Aliyaki »

I've just gotten into the art of the perler bead crafts and because I don't really know much yet, I was wondering if there was an index of patterns for game/geek Perler Beads at all? I noticed that there was an iPod/iPhone/iPad pattern maker, however I do not own any of those products so using those would be a bit too hard.

Thank you

Any grid based/sprite pattern for stitching can be used as a pattern for beading. It's just using 1 bead per square instead of a X. Check out the patterns already made here.

You'll most likely have to do some improvising with the colors though as perler beads don't come in as many colors as threads.

Here's pixelgasm. The perler bead version of sprite stitch.

If you're trying to make your own patterns, GIMP is a free software that I use for pixel based works.
