Designed by flickr'er RedHerring1up. Had to wing it on the bottom since I couldn't see in the original picture. Painted the flower pot green to make it look like it was coming out of a warp pipe.

Whoa!! That's awesome!!!

2 Questions:
1. How big is it?
2. What does the end in the dirt look like? I mean, how is it standing up in there?

Great job!

The size of the perler bead piranha plant only is 7" wide and about 11" tall. The end thats in the "dirt" is nothing more than black perler beads (5 across and several going down, depending how long you want it to be) with the very end in the shape of a pyramid/arrow. The "dirt" was a styrofoam block, shaped to fit in the flower pot. Extra was cut off and the top is spray painted black. When that paint was dry, I stuck in the piranha plant without jiggling it too much so it wouldn't jiggle around when moved. The weight of the flower pot was heavy enough to keep everything standing up right.

My boyfriend wants a pattern for this. Do you know where I could find one?

I never found a pattern for this. Just had to eyeball it from the picture I got it from on Flickr! and wing it on the bottom cause the original picture never showed it.
