Perler bead graffiti

Post by HerrPersilja »

I've been thinking to test using perler beads as "graffiti".
What sort of glue should one use to get the plastic beads to stick to concrete? Any ideas?

Found this on the forum...
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=375
THAT'S what I wanna do.

What kind of glue was used? Does one have to clean the surface? etc

Yeah, but I saw he was indoors, maybe I need some tougher stuff than just regular superglue. I don't know. It must withstand cold and moist and so on.
I was going to PM him but I saw he hasn't been here since april, or what it was. But wait. One gets an e-mail notification when receiving a PM, right? Ok, I'll PM him.

I put up a perler bead-Luigi today. But I don't think it will stay up for too long :(
Gonna buy some glue used for construction purposes in concrete, not just ordinary superglue.
But even with the baddest glue, if not keeping pressure on the beads when the glue hardens, it wont stay up anyway.

Coolt!

Du borde använda något tvåkomponentslim, s.k. epoxy. Det härdar genom att smälta plast så det sitter riktigt hårt. Måste förvisso appliceras några minuter.

a reminder...
Only glue perler beads where you are allowed to do so.
