You really should sell these, they are amazingly awesome and adorable. It can be hard to find nerdy accessories that are also cute and non-tacky but I think you freakin' nailed it ^^

Thank you guys so much! :D I'm glad you all really like them, and I should be figuring out my Etsy store sometime this weekend!

Here's a couple more I made today:

Image

Red Ribbon Army from DBZ "ribbon". I can't believe I haven't thought of this sooner! D:

Image

A shuriken from the Ninja Gaiden NES game, with the colors doctored a bit, and times 4 beads per pixel.

^ Actually not at all! I find it easier, but maybe that's just because I have been using them for a while now. I even use the "regular" green plastic Perler tweezers with them and don't have a problem. (Though if you don't have a steady hand, I can see why it may be hard to use these over the bigger kind!)

In fact the other day I went back to using normal sized Perler Beads for a project (after using only Mini Hamas for months), and I joked with my friends that it felt like Super Mario 3 World 4 with how huge and awkward it was to work with them xD lol. I actually like the Mini Beads the best so far. It's much easier to iron them together too since they fuse almost instantly!

The only "problem" I have found is that since the pegboard pegs are so much smaller and thinner than regular Hama and Perler boards, you have to be careful while ironing that you don't melt them. I only have two boards now, but ordered two more with this next shipment I'm getting, because a couple of the corners have been ironed/flattened down a bit. I guess with more experience too I'll be better at not doing that :pac

Thank you so much!!! And thank you too johloh! I'm glad you all like these :D

Hopefully sometime this week or early next week I will be getting my new bead shipment in so I can start making more of these :peach

Edit!:

Well guess who just got the shipment in xD Guess while I typed this they were waiting for me in my mailbox, go figure lol. So here's what I made tonight!:

Image

Princess Peach from Mario Kart! I plan on making the others as well :D

And (not technically a barrette, but pin!):

Image

A scanner from Dragon Ball (technically from the DB GBA game I got the Red Ribbon Army logo sprite from)!

Yet again I'll update with anything new I come up with :pika
