My latest bead art has all been Back To The Future. I'm participating in a fundraiser for Parkinson's run by Showmasters. It's basically a cross promotion for their London Film & Comic Con (which has a lot of BTTF stars attending this year), where they're aiming to raise $88,000 by October this year. I've set myself a goal of $500, which I don't expect to hit, but it's nice to dream! Anyway, I'll be making BTTF-themed bead art over the next few months and putting it up for sale, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Just thought I'd share my creations here, when I've got a few more finished articles, I'll start posting prices here

It was brought to my attention today that an unscrupulous account on Instagram has been taking peoples' pictures and passing them off as their own. I found 3 of my pics on his account, and have since reported and blocked him. The account in question is called crafty_since_1982. If any of you are on Instagram, I suggest you check his account to see if any of your work has been plagiarised. At least 3 other pixel beaders on IG have falen victim to his lazy content theft.

So from now on I'll be watermarking my work right over the art, rather than around it. I didn't want to do this, as I feel it detracts from the visual effect of the art, but it looks like I've got no other option. On the plus side, at least imitation is the highest form of flattery...

By the way, I've been referring to the shady user as "he" for ease, but I'm aware it could just as easily be a "she"

Sorry to hear you've had pictures stolen, unfortunately it does happen. Good on you for reporting him/her though.

And I think your Back to the Future items are great, hope you can raise lots of money!
