Posting Images & Attachments

Post by Lord Libidan »

To avoid dead links and images we prefer you to upload all attachments and images to the blog.
You must first resize your images to a forum appropriate size. These dimensions can be found in the Sprite Stitch Handbook found at the top of the forum.
You can only post a maximum of 5 attachments per post.

To start, you have to start a topic, or reply on an already existing thread. When in the section on the board you wish to post in, located the "New Topic" button in the top left corner of the forum:

Under your message area you will find two tabs. Click the one marked "Upload Attachment". Click the browse button to find your file, then click "Add the file":

The following box will then appear under your message area. There are two ways to attach files. One is to "Place inline" and the other is to leave the attachment to fall at the end of the message.

Place inline - This is best for images, as it reduces the white space around the file found in the "attached" example. If the file is not an image, this method is not necessary:

Attached - This method is used for anything except images. However if you forget to press the "place inline" button, it will also display images as shown:

If using a particularly large image (That cannot be resized) or a series of images that may slow down the loading of the page, putting your files in the "spoiler" tags is the best course of action.
In order to place them you have to upload attachments as "place inline". Select them all in the post body, and click the spoiler button found at the top of the message.
