Twisting Thread

Hello all. Any tips on how to deal with floss when it twists? My floss always seems to twist while stitching and toward the end the stitches become small and ugly. How do you all fix this problem?

I have to make a conscious effort to unwind the needle as I stitch. There's also a technique called "railroading" that will make sure your stitches are super clean, but I haven't bothered to make it a habit yet.

It's annoying, but I let my needle dangle and untwist VERY frequently - probably every 25 stitches or so. It drives me nuts if I don't do it. A thread conditioner like Thread Heaven can also make your floss a little less twisty, but I'm a bit too lazy to use it.

Have you tried looking at the twisting thread formulas. There's lots of fun facts from the net and YouTube. Thank me later
