Loop Knot on Front

I don't know if that's the technical term, but I was wondering if anyone uses that technique. I saw it in a video last night and tried it first thing this morning. I noticed that it left a thicker looking cross, and while probably not visible to anyone else, I was wondering if that is the usual result.

Can you link to the video? I'm not sure what you're talking about, but am happy to try to help with a bit more info.

It's around 16:20. I did it a couple more times and think I got the hang of it. With that first one, I didn't realize the knot will actually slip all the way to the back, so I didn't pull enough. It's actually a neat little trick!

Huh. Actually I've never seen that version before, but now I feel like I have to go try it! Thanks for sharing!

Interesting. I may need to give that a try later.

I use this technique on the back of my work. In my experience you can't tell the difference in stitches.
