Hey Servo (or anyone who can answer this question for that matter :P)
Got a question about the adia sizes... I'm looking at starting this on 18ct, but... when I first changed the pattern to 18ct, it was (sorry, cm here) 36.12cm x 63.5cm, but then when I printed it, it said 72.24cm x 127cm. Sooo confused...

Hope someone can help...

Don't worry about it, KG Chart has this odd thing where the size is doubled for some reason, it's still the original size.

Uh I have a question. This may seem dumb but I'm new at this.
So I'm guessing 18 count is smaller squares? So smaller X's? Why would you need to do it on 18 count instead of 14 count? Because I think all my mom's got is 14 count. And if you do it on 14 count with the end result be much bigger? Will it take more time or something? Why do you need to do it on 18?

Also another question. How big a piece should I buy if I'm gunna do it on 14 count? Or is that not advisable?

And LASTLY!!! how do I get the pattern? I can't open those sth things or whatever they are. I have windows but I must not have the right program or something so how can I get this on my computer??

Anywhoo. This is pure genius! And I am sooo excited to start it!

Aida cloth is sold in different size squares. 18 count means that there are 18 squares in an itch, 14 count means that there are 14 squares in an inch, and so on.
If you did this on 14 count aida, it would be much bigger, approximately 18.3 x 32.1 inches. You don't need to use 18 count for this pattern, I use that as a guide when I make my patterns as it is what I nearly always use. A scroll frame would most likely be useful for this pattern.
To open up the .sth files, you need a program called KG Chart, it's free and is found here: http://www.iktsoft.net/kgchart-en/
I'll get a PDF file put up as well.

I've put up two PDF files of the pattern now, one black and white and one colour. I've also fixed a tiny mistake on the pattern as well, but it is hardly noticeable, for those people who already started it. By the by, if anyone does notice any mistakes or anything odd with the pattern, please tell me so I can check/fix it.

I plan on doing this! I'm going to do this one and the second generation one for my fiance. He's got a pokemon card binder, and has been collecting them from the beginning. I love it!

I have been working on this pattern since New Years' Day this year. I love it. Now you must also know that I am a student in college who does not have much free time, so any extra time I have is now officially given to finishing this pattern. It is by far my favorite. Once I'm done with it, I'm having someone frame it and then I'm giving it to my boyfriend. He already knows that if we split up, I'll probably kill him, seeing that this pattern is the most difficult one I've worked on yet! :yahoo:
