Actually - just create a link to the forum topic on the Wiki page. You may already know how to do this, but here's the step by step:

- Go to the appropriate page that you want to add the pattern to.
- Hit edit in the top right corner
- Type in a description of what the pattern is (usually the topic name and the author of the pattern as well as a (PR) is it was a pattern request) under the appropriate sub-heading
- Highlight what you just typed
- Hit the "link" button on the hot bar that appears when you're editing
- Link it to where the pattern is on the forum

Hope this helps!

I did everything right to add a pattern to a list. The last thing after you hit the link button and I didn't do something. how do you link it to where the pattern is on the forum? I got the title of the pattern showing under Misc in the Misc video game pattern page but I wasn't do something to link it to forums.

When you're in "edit" mode, there is that little row of boxes along the top of the page - first, type in the text that you want on the page itself (i.e. - Mario - Princess Pattern by Bob) then highlight all the text, then hit the link button, hit the external link tab, and copy the link to the forums.

Hope that helps!

I think I'm going to delete the Master Pattern page from the wiki, I think it's kinda pointless now we have split it up into different pages anyway.

What do you think?

Yeah, I agree. Also, I always forget about it when I'm adding patterns  , so it's not really up to date like the other pages are.

Go for it, it's kinda defunct right now with the epic sorting job that's been done :D

:yahoo: There are 682 patterns currently on the Wiki page - that's freaking amazing! I have been amazed since I first found these forums how willing everyone is to make patterns and share patterns they have put together for their own projects. You people are ridiculously awesome!!!!! :yahoo:

Edit : I do have to say though, all this sharing makes it ridiculously hard to decide what I'm going to make next.....

Is there a faster way to get to the wiki rather than through this thread? I'm wondering if new people are finding or not. Should we put a link up the top with the blog, forum, contact list?
