Black and White Link Portrait

Post by Mandy82 »

Here is a pattern I made if anyone would like it. It is 150 stitches wide, by 112 stitches high. 14ct Aida and 13 colours. This is my first pattern. Hopefully I am starting tonight :Link

I started on it last night....and you might like to use black aida :nod I can't find any close to me, and so I started stitching on white aida...and there is alot of black stitches to do! Could take me awhile to finish too - I seem to be a slow stitcher!

This looks awesome. Theres something about the black and white that gives it a really nice look, almost like its an ink drawing or sketch of some sort.
This is going on my to-do-once-I-actually-get-time list too.

It looks like it's going to turn out nice but I see what you mean about using black aida.

Is there any possible way for this to be posted as a .pdf? It's beautiful and I don't have the program that uses .sth.

I will warn you that I went ahead and took out the large section of black already per the creator's recommendation since I intend to making it on black cloth. Just fill in that HUGE space with black if you'd rather have them :nod

This is fantastic. I can't wait to see somebody post their WIPS on this and see the final product.
