It's always nice to have more time for hobbies. :)

Got a lot in myself last few days and powered through stitching the title.

.
Added about a thousand extra stitches, but I think they turned out pretty well.

Working on the black and white in that pesky fortress flooring now.
I think I have less than 2k stitches until the end, but I might swap out some colors after that (if I feel up to it).
Also probably have to do a little more backstitching around the white on white areas.
So, nearly done, but still have to put in quite a few hours.

Meant to get this up a little sooner, but life happened and things got hectic. Still need to wash and block eventually, but I rinsed it out a month ago to check the colors so it's not particularly dirty right now. If I can find something big enough and inexpensive, maybe I'll even frame it. It's thumb-tacked to my wall for now.
I might change out the color of the first ? block later, but for now I'm considering it done.

Mario Through the Ages
Jan-Nov 2016
~52k stitches
384W x 315H ~28" x 22.5"
14 Count Off-White Aida, 2 strands

I added some half stitches around THROUGH so it's actually legible and backstitched around some of the white areas.

Used a tablet to take the closeup pics late in the day, so the white balance is a bit off, cloth is more ivory than cold white.

Thanks you two! I'm shocked I actually finished it. The largest thing I'd completed before I started this was a bookmark. But your support and being able to stitch along with someone really helped motivate me.

Always happy to see your progress. Looks wonderful.
