Need a source for a specific fabric.

Post by saintrobyn »

I know this is going to be an odd request but I need to find someplace that has Aida cream or binca 6 Count fabric for my wife. Here's the kicker, she needs a piece that is 3 1/4 feet by 4 1/2 feet. She wants to do a Celtic cross stitch rug as a Christmas present for one of her relatives this year. Since she is stitching me the "Mario through the ages" pattern for my wall above my computer I think it is the least I can do to help her find it. Anyone have a good source?

ive never seen 6 count aida in stores here in the US...on the web I found a few places that sell it, seems to be a european thing since all the sites are in euros...

3.28 feet by 5.58 feet...just big enough (at bottom of page 100cmX170cm)

I'm from the UK and I'm struggling to find 6" fabric of that size for you. Have you tried requesting it from a store and leaving a deposit so they know your serious. Stores can always look to there wholesalers to find that product. Might be an option for you.

You might have better luck finding 18 count and stitching over 3 would be the same as over one on 6 count.
The best way to get rid of temptation is to give into it.

That makes sense, I'll tell my wife. Thanks for the suggestion.
