Howdy!

I am from Moorhead, Minnesota, right across the river from Fargo. Yes, that Fargo. My sister got me into cross stitching sometime around April and I've been hooked ever since. I've found a lot of wonderful patterns on this site and thought I should join to thank everybody.

Hello everyone!

I first found this place about a year ago and have lurked on and off, but I finally decided to join and participate!

I mainly do cross stitch, plastic canvas, and perler beading, but I want to learn how to Crochet (if I can ever manage how to hold the yarn, which is the hardest part so far).

My favorite game series ever is the Donkey Kong Country series, but I also love Mario, Portal, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Meat Boy, and other random things I'm probably forgetting.

Hope to get to know you all.

Hi everyone my name is Erin and I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been cross stitching ever since I was little and I absolutely love it! I have an anxiety disorder and cross stitching helps me relax. I've been stalking this website for awhile now and just thought I'd say hi!

Heyy! I've been lurking on this site for a little while, collecting awesome patterns along the way so I figured I would finally join :P

My mom taught me how to cross stitch when I was a kid and have been at it off and on since then (15-18 years? geez). Finding this site inspired me to start it again because I was actually finding patterns I wanted to do! I've got pretty big Game of Thrones project I want to start on, so you might see a thread started about it soon-ish :clapping: I do like video games but I'm more of a casual gamer, otherwise I love nerdy TV shows and movies. I'll also stitch landscapes and fairies/dragons/mythical scenes, if I can find the right pattern!

I just noticed this post. I am still pretty new if I do say so myself. So I will introduce myself :D
My name is Ashleigh. I'm 21. I live in Virginia. I am an introvert so I prefer to have internet friends (means I don't have to go out in public haha). I just recently got out of a bad relationship so I have finally gotten time to start gaming a lot and cross stitching as well. I make all kinds of crafts. I have tried them all at least once. I play World of Warcraft 90% of my time. I print off patterns and work on them during raid discussions, load screens, those times I die. You know :P it happens haha. I also go to school full time online for database programming. I am a HUGE nerd. I often act like a kid but I'm okay with it. I love animals and I do in fact get excited about little kids, the zoo, and toys.

Hmm I think that's about it other than I LOVE TO TALK so feel free to message me if you're bored and want a friend ^.^

Hello all!

I've been a lurker on this board for years and just got around to making an official account! I am a stitcher and (sporadic) blogger based in Brooklyn, NY. I work in almost every medium, but cross-stitch is my one true love. I generally stitch abstract work, cute video game sprites, vintage or classic stuff, and horror. Right now I am attempting to conquer the Epic Pokemon Pattern I and am one page in - so much color and so much fun!

You can find me at my blog, www.concraftidora.wordpress.com , where I post a little bit of stitching but mostly my DIY adventures. You can also find me on tumblr at mcnopes.tumblr.com and pinterest at http://www.pinterest.com/concraftidor/ . I would LOVE to meet more stitchers in the Brooklyn/NYC area and maybe even set up a stitch-along! There are so many knitting groups in the city but I am having a lot of trouble finding a stitching group. I think it'd be wicked fun. Message me if you're interested, or just wanna talk pokemon and horror!

So happy to part of the community

Hey everybody, I'm Chris, but I usually go by mrgilder or cscaskie online. I like to build wooden statues and plaques out of classic sprites. Here's an example:

I'm really looking forward to being part of a community of people who make game crafts. I don't know if it's because there's supposed to be a sense of competition or what, but I've found hard to get in touch with other crafters. I can't wait to check out everybody's work!

If you'd like to network and add me elsewhere on the web, I'm all over the place:

A-HA! I've been looking for an 'Introductions' topic!

Hi all, I'm Aegidia and I don't do cross-stitching (yet!) but do loads of other crafts, particularly knitting, crochet and sewing. I love making geeky stuff, including videogame-related things. My favourite thing is to make geeky usable/wearable items. Bonus points if its 'stealth geek' so that you can actually wear it day-to-day! I'm 25, expat from one EU country to another EU country, working on my PhD.

Games I particularly enjoy: Pokémon games, Guild Wars 2, Portal 2, Mirror's Edge, the Dragon Age series, the Mass Effect series (as long as I pretend the ending doesn't exist), Final Fantasy XII.

Hello all! I just started cross stitching about a month ago and found this site while looking for patterns. I'm finishing up my first ever cross stitch project (a small fox) from a pattern I found on Etsy. I can't wait to show you my first video game creation!

Thanks everyone for being so welcoming! :good:
