Came across this site, whilst looking for a present for my friends xmas pressie! :D
Have spent many hours looking at the crafts that everyone seems to be making, and I have to admit it, I do get jealous of some of the gorgeous stuff on here.

I'm Alice, or Husky. Found this site thanks to a sudden desperate urge to cross stitch some Pokemon :) I only have the patience for sprite-size projects!

I'm 33 and from the UK. Obsessions include huskies, motorcycling and WWI aeroplanes.

Hello, my name is Shiloh, better known on the Internet as Kareesh. I've been cross-stitching for awhile. My mom introduced it to me with canvas Christmas presents when I was just a wee one. Now, I'm working on so many projects, I don't know where to start!

I'm 23 years old and I'm a newly-wed, so I'm having to learn that I as a craftser don't mind when I leave my thread and needles everywhere, but my husband does. Maybe here in a bit I'll post pictures of all my WIP. I only have one currently that is video game related, but I'm hoping to change that. I just have so many things I want to do, but not enough time. And most of them are pretty large projects.

Well, I think's an adequate introduction. Hope to talk to ya'll soon.

Hi everyone,

I'm college student from the Netherlands.
I've been a fan of videogames and quite a bit of a geek for as long as I can remember.

Came across this site a few years back when I first had the epiphany that a pixel could equal a crossstitch.
Of course, I soon realised that I was far from the only person who'd ever thought up that idea. ;)
I've been lurking off and on ever since, loving all the incredible projects you all come up with and finally decided to join.

I dabble in all sorts of crafts on and off. I love paper models, cross stitching, tying bracelets and a variety of other things.
There's just something great about taking some nondescript materials and turning them into something special.
A demanding college program means I don't always have as much time to craft as I'd like, but I manage.

Hello,
I'm Emma. I've been lurking for a while, but I thought I should introduce myself.
I started off stitching a Beatrix Potter sampler for my baby brother, and somehow I found this forum, and it got me addicted to video game cross stitches. At the moment I'm working on the epic generation 1 Pokémon pattern, and I'll post a WIP shot to the thread soon.
I live with my equally nerdy boyfriend who enjoys all the little sprite stitches I make for him.

That's about it!

Hello, my name is Natalie. I'm 28years old and live in Manchester Uk.
I've been x-stitching since I was little but now I'm older have a big interest in 'urban-stitch' - anything that doesn't include flowers, fluffy bunnies or things that make you go 'aaaahh'. My creations usually end up as presents for friends and family.

I work as a mechanical engineer at Manchester University so I don't stitch as often as I like (the main reason that my hands are usually covered in black oil - even after a bath it warms on my hands and seeps into the material :( )
I came accross this community as I was looking for some games patterns to fill a load of photo frames we have for our newly decorated hallway.

Anyway - that's me

Hi all

My name is Amy. I'm 26 years old. I've always loved old school video games. All the games from the Zelda, Mario and Kirby lines are among my most favorites. Deep down inside I've always wanted to be a creative person but never really took the time to actually make anything. Then I found this website. Everyone here is so inspiring and I ended up buying my first cross stitching supplies ever. Haven't made anything yet (I work an overnight job anywhere from 50-60 hours a week so I've been pretty tired lately) But as soon as I do make something I'll be sure to post it here. I"m also interested in Perler Beading too and will be buying some of those supplies next.

Its so nice to meet you all! :zelda

My name's Nick, I'm 26, from Austin, Tx, and love NES/Arcade games. I do a lot of knitting, mostly beanies and scarves, but am venturing out into more difficult projects. After the gift-making season, I'll hopefully start on a king-size blanket for my bed.

Other than crafts, I do a lot of woodworking, masonry, and general restoration of old stuff. I recently rebuilt a 70's Raleigh road bike, painted cherry red, and used actual gold-flake to create scallops... Hopefully gaudy enough that most thieves won't want to steal it. :green
