Hi all, my name is Anna, I live in Cheshire, UK. I have a baby boy and am currently a stay at home mum.

I first learnt to cross stitch when I was little but recently rediscovered it, and it was my husband who suggested computer related stuff.
I have been following this site for a while and I love all your work! Well done!

I love to stitch things that mean something to the person I am making it for, but I am not very good at coming up with designs - I like to have a go tho!
I didnt really get into computer games until I met my husband, then I got addicted! I played EverQuest for a few years, but I now love my DS and the sort of games on that so Mario, Zelda, etc etc. I also like some old classics such as Monkey Island.

I am not really chatty on forums, but I do lurk and will say something now and then!

Even though I usually don't hit introduction boards, this one is relatively small, so I thought I would partake. ^^

I'm Kate, and I love to play video games. I also enjoy making stuff (I guess that's what my BFA indicates, anyway). Thus, my obsession with this blog, and now the forums, was born.

Hi everyone.

A friend of mine directed me here, rightly thinking I would be interested in what goes on here. I've recently started a shop on Etsy to sell the geeky little charms I've been making in my free time. Most of them are based on retro video game pixel art. Check out this small sample.

I used to cross stitch similar things and then last year discovered the cool effect that beads can give, and haven't really stopped making little charms ever since. Aside from a three month break when I had to pack up my life and move from Oxford, UK to Sydney, Australia that is (have been here for three and a bit months now - settling in - slowly!)!

So hi! I'm Skels. I've had a bit of a look round - still lots to read. Look forward to spending more time here and just pleased to make your aquaintance!

Hey, I'm a student of IT from wet and windy Wales, in a hellhole called Newport.

I've both been playing games and cross stitching from an early age, though I left off the stitching and got more addicted to games, so much so that I hope to be able to program games when I leave university. Lately I picked up the cross-stitch habit after I discovered sites like this, and realized that my old spriting skills meant that I could easily pixel count rather than use a proper grid. :]

I have a few already completed projects that I shall upload in a bit, after I've had more of a look round. :]

Christian Bale is from Wales, so nothing there can be wrong. :D -- At least, this is what I thought when I first saw him in Treasure Island (and later fell in love with him in Newsies and Little Women!).

Hello everyone! I'm from Arizona, Phoenix. Name's TristaKatagata.
I'm currently working on a few cross-stitch patterns, although to be honest I'm going to be trying a HUGE one (37" by 37") once I get the permission from the artist to turn it into a 'stitch pattern. I've stitched here and there and I really enjoy it. My occupation as a student makes it easier to work on cross-stitch... for now.
It's a pleasure to meet you all!

Hello!

My name is Ally and I have been stitching on and off for a while now (although I tend to save my hand-made patterns on my computer and then have to end up reformatting and loosing it *sigh*) and have recently been doing more and more sprite stitching! I have a 1 year old son so I don't get much stitching done until he is either napping or asleep - and then sometimes i end up staying up all night doing it!

Once I can get some more floss (I use Anchor Floss since it's only 0.20-0.40 CAD in my local Walmart) I plan on starting to stitch each individual pokemon starting from #01 and also finish my smaller KH project I've started!

I plan to be around these boards daily and probably too much for my boyfriends liking! Haha! But if you are also interested I just got myself a blog you can visit where I will be updating my cross stitch projects as well! ^_^

Thanks for having me here and I can't wait to be apart of this amazing community! ^_^

I totally hear you on both counts there :D Gone through many reformats and then some ^^. I also have a 1 year old (she's actually almost 2) and loves to bust in on my stitching time...hence I also stay up quite late stitching away :D
