I'm afraid not. ScienceDad started making an online program instead, which in my opinion is heavily lacking.

Ouch :) Actually, I stopped working on the online program for awhile as work got busy, and I've abandoned the Spriter script entirely (it's embarrassingly bad Python code). So no plan to distribute this script as an app package for Lion or above. On the other hand, you CAN run Spriter as a Python script by peeling out this file from the package contents (right-click on the app, this file is in Contents/Resources/script).

BUT I -have- just started working on pixelcraft again and hopefully can get it up to snuff.
It would be helpful if you let me know what is lacking, which you can do by posting issues on my github site:

Wow that sounds rude. Not meant in that way, my apologies.
I quite like the fact that it has lego beads, anchor threads, etc on it, however there are a few lacking features.
- ability to print
- ability to save
- ability to view other peoples work
- ability to select size
- no maximum image size
- no 'frame' (as in the lines around stitches) [there kinda is a white one, but i'd prefer black.]
- no symbols over colours (similar colours can get really hard to differentiate)
- no 'count' on the sides to tell you how many stitches
- issues with big screens:

Thats all I can think of right now, but keep sprite stitch updated with your progress, cos I'd love to see how it turns out.
As with Spriter, I always trust the colours it picks better than KG chart, so I'd love to use it.

As always, I appreciate constructive criticism :) I admit that I started spreading word about pixelcraft rather prematurely, before it had a full feature set.
Today I implemented pixel markings to distinguish similar colours, and have started to think about how to solve the problem of printing.
