hi all

ive asked a few times now but never got an answer, whats the site for the quilt?

im on and off because of lack of internet =(

so i miss loads of stuff because in just one day people can post 2-3 pages of stuff!! every time i long in and check, im reading 10+ pages at a time.
would it be a good idea to make a new topic just for general chat or just for questions/info about the quilt project?

its really difficult to read through it all and find important stuff. Im guessing that at some point that it was posted but cant find it?

Ive been talking to a few very well known people in the cross-stitching world and ive tried to tell them about the project but they said they dont have the time to read through it all. They did like the idea but said that people need to think about how much it would sell for. Stitching thats over £150 is quite hard to sell but charity work does add selling factor to something like this!

Also, I think there will be separate forums on that site once they can get it up and running. Which means there probably will be separate topics and definitely not all in one place here. They've been talking about having the forums up in a few hours or tomorrow.

Do we need to keep to the original colours of our chosen pokemon? or can you do one in the original colours and then others in variations? e.g. warhol style

Also can we write captions on them? Or are we just keeping them minimalistic?

Let's go minimalistic, and just stick to the basic colors.

We can talk about side projects later, as I am planning on having an online store attached to the site eventually.
We are the Patchwork Pokemon Gym! Fear our needles for we summon our Pokemon with fabric and floss! And we are AWESOME!!

Side projects? Think this whole thing is complicated enough as it is! We'll probably still be trying to sort it out this time next year!

I was wondering about that. Planning on selling individual patches? Give people the chance to order which one they want sort of idea?
(I know the idea is very long term, but I dig it. I have a few friends who won't be able to afford the whole blanket but would be interested in individual squares.)

The dig's are 23 and the slithers are 26. I think most squares (aside from something like the legendary birds or eevee's) should be under 30.

yep i was told that we might earn more money by selling patches individually in a made to order process.

i.e. stitch all the patches and make the quilt then if people cant afford the quilt they can still buy a single patch they like and contact the stitcher through the contact details.
