Here's my first WIP. I've finished all of the bright yellow. Going to start on the shading next. I'm sorry if it's a little dark. I had some problems with the flash!

My patch isn't hell it's just PINK!

I should get around to new colors soon. I'm a one-color-at-a-time type of person. I can't hop around. I lose track of where I am.

I always do one colour at a time too! It helps me quite a bit doing it that way. Almost keeps me sane. And that way, I only have to have one block of floss out of my case at a time and I don't have to keep going back to it every five minutes!

Hi everyone,
For those of you that don't know I'm Holder's girlfriend.
I'm FINALLY finishing my term at university tomorrow and can sort of forsee a time where I might be able to stitch instead of having to write 5000 words of stuff a week.
I've been watching Holder doing his Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard square for the last week or so and would love to do one myself.
Despite uni finishing, I still have coursework deadlines so I can't commit to definitely doing one right now, when do we need to submit the squares by, or is it an open deadline?
If I do one could I please do one of the following? (If I'm fast enough I might do more than one)
In a very rough order of preference:
Happiny/Chansey
Gloom/Vileplume
Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff
Bellsprout/Weepinbell/Victreebell
Polywhirl/Polywrath
Clefairy/Clefable

Welcome to our insanity Firefly!
I've actually been trying to put a tentative date together. Here's the skinny everyone.
We have 13 people currently working on the patches. For the Gen I quilt we have 81 patches to complete. That's about 6 patches per person, with some doing 7. If we did 1 patch every two weeks (and I'm not sure that's possible for everyone) that would mean 12-14 weeks just for the stitching. I know that not everyone can commit to that volume of stitching.
We need more help.
BMH and I are trying to get the word out and drum up some interest. If you know of anyone offline who would be willing to pitch in for a patch or two, let's get them on the team! ^_^
Keep posting your WIPs, keep up the energy! ^_^ You all are amazing!

Thanks,
As I'm still hoping to do a lot of writing and maybe an internship, I definitely won't be able to commit to 6 or 7 patches but I can try one and see how it goes. Just wanted to make sure no one else had claimed the ones I want to do.
Maybe trying to get all of the pokemon on there is a bit too ambitious?
Also do we have to put the whole pokemon in our square or can we be more creative with our design? Also what background would I put with my choices?
