even with my massive thread collection I found I was missing at least 10 colors for the Sycther/Pinsir patch lol
I also had to buy some aida cloth because I don't normally stitch on it (I use linen or evenweaves) and D-A-M-N it's stiff! Other than that, at least part of my sick day has become a stitching day... I'll post a pic once there's enough to share ;)

@_@ Ditto is a LOT of pink! (I'm not the biggest fan of pink but I love ditto. (TT.TT))
I broke my ditto patch down into 13 different days worth (I'm a medium speed stitcher) and I got day one finished yesterday, even with all the paperwork that I had to fill out for my son's ordeal (yay for medical butt-covering).
As soon as I can I'll dive into day two and post a WIP tonight (my time). Two pink blobs worth.
Ok I'm not sure if this was ever decided on - am I going to spearhead the actual stitching of said quilt? If so, I'm going to look at fabric tomorrow when I go to get floss. I'll take pics and post them so we can all look and vote. It'll just be a phone camera pic, but I'll get the best shot I can.
@Blackmageheart - I am sure hoping we'll be able to get to all 5 generations of Pokemon, but it'll all depend on how well this batch goes over. At least Generation I is the most recognizable, especially with Pikachu.
Actually I'm hoping to do more than just the quilts if we get enough publicity. My in-laws have a home printing business and they can print, do heat-pressed vinyl, and embroider on just about anything. They've agreed to let me do things like t-shirts, hoodies, and fleece blankets for our relief efforts. We'd need a logo for that, and I'm not sure if we should steal Johloh's.
Argh, I'm getting ahead of myself. But I really think that if we got enough publicity we could raise a lot of money and do some real good.
Is there any way we could have several patches done by the end of April? I'm going to try to have at least 2 of mine done by then. That way we'll have progress to show and so on. And we can start the publicity campaign. I'll do as much of that as I can. I apologize if I come across as really bossy. I am SO grateful that all of you are on board. You guys are just the coolest people I've ever interacted with online.

i plan on doing at least 2-3 patches by the end of April. only thing is i have my fiance's birthday at the end of April so i might be a little slow then, since i'm preparing a party for him. other than that there's nothing in the way of me working all day every day till the 21st 8D

I'll try to get at least two of mine done by then. I think I should be able to make quite a bit of progress on them in the evenings as I'm home alone.
And I found back where faewren mentioned which ones were going to be paired up, and Snorlax wasn't going to be paired up, which I think is the best. I *think* I put the pairings up on the list.
@kuja.girl: Thanks for mentioning that you were doing Pinsir/Scyther. I knew someone was doing it, but couldn't find where I read that. I'll update the list here in a minute.
Also, I'm pretty dumb with KG and colors, and I know they're off from time to time, but what percentage are they usually off? I'm *reaaaally* hoping that the colors aren't too off on my Jinx/Mr. Mime patch. Gr....

I'll try to have mine done by then. Will you be providing an address for us to send them to?

When you finish a patch and are ready to send, I will PM you my address. I'm not sure I want my address just here on the thread, makes me kinda nervous.
I have a sister-in-law with a great camera, so I'm gonna try and see if she'll take pics of the patches. If not, I have other avenues of contacts to explore.
