To those who are dreading stitching the background - don't worry about it. You'll find that it's a lot easier than it seems (trust me, I know from doing my Alis square - all that black!!)
Also... just want to pick everybody's brains about a name and possible content for the project's blog I'm working on. If there's something in particular you'd like to see on the blog, or you have an idea for something, drop me a PM! All input is welcome!! I'd like it to be up and running in the next couple of days max (gives me time to get the design right)
@faewren: Yes the flag is perfect! Trying to think of ways it can be used, lol

name... Stitches for Japan? could mean the obvious cross Stitch for Japan, or could be a play on words for helping a wounded Japan? i dunno, it sounded good in my head but nowi'm not so sure ^^;
Current Projects:
Link and Triforce Square = 56% complete.
Kanto Map = 60% complete.
Hetalia sprites for Xmas presents. Other projects will be put on hold until these are done. Shouldn't take long though. :3

The background has to be filled in - and it goes a lot faster than you think. Once you have all the details down, you can just turn on a good movie and let your brain go numb and fill it in.
If we didn't fill it in, the batting would leak through the holes, making the patch look like it's sprouting hair. You're essentially creating a very pretty, very sturdy piece of printed fabric - just without the printing. ^_^
Oh speaking of printing. My family has a home printing business, y'know the kind that prints on just about everything. If we got interest before the quilt was finished, we could design t-shirts and stuff that people could buy.
I sent a PM to Johloh and he says as long as we're nonprofit he doesn't mind our slogan so that's an ok.
We are the Patchwork Pokemon Gym! Fear our needles for we summon our Pokemon with fabric and floss! And we are AWESOME!!
I'd like to be involved in this as well but I have never played Pokemon at all so someone would have to provide me with a pattern. It really doesn't matter what it is.
I'm good with the 14 ct white aida. When would it need to be done? And do we know where to send it yet? Sorry if I'm asking questions that have already been covered but there are a lot of pages for this thread already!
