Hello fellow stitchers,

I'm fairly new in the beautiful world of cross-stich, and I want to make a really simplified "beginner" version of the "bless this house" concept I've seen around- nothing as exciting or as big as stitching the good doctor's actual face, but instead do "bless this " in a vague italic font, and "House" in the font of the tv show - together with a pixel-people version of dr. house.
I've created sort of a draft version, but I would appreciate anyone taking a look and suggesting any advice. I'm especially having trouble with House's kind of unshaven 3 days mustache and beard look.

Many thanks,

Lux.

I think it looks great the way it is!
When you stitch it, you could use gray stitches around his mouth for the "beard effect."

Hello Lux, and everybody

do you know you this version of drHouse by Andy Rash ?
http://iotacons.blogspot.com/2011/04/house-m-d.html
People often use Iotacons portraits to stitch them ; they send a picture of their work to him, and he put them on the blog as fan arts...
So if you like the pattern, and ask him if you can use it for a cross stitch work, I think he will be OK !
I love his work !!
