Sprite Stitch Board!

hi all! gearing up for christmas stitching and found a cute pic i'd like to do. i have tried making the pattern myself but i'm terrible! looking for this to be about 8x10, as many colors as needed. seems to need some tweaking too. thanks in advance

I made a valiant effort. I tried, tried, triiied to keep backstitching out, but his hands! omygosh. I apologize profusely for them.
I have no idea how the backstitching will look actually stitched, so this would be one of those things where I'd suggest stitching that area in the lighter green and then kinda draping the floss around to achieve the look you're going for before actually stitching it.

Chart size: 181w x 121h which would be about 10" x 7" on 18-count Aida. Just under 7,000 stitches.

I try to do one Christmas stitch each year. This will be it for next year. Great pattern!
