Help with existing pattern!

Okay, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, so I apologize if it isn't.

So, I'm trying to get started on a black and white photo of Johnny Depp. I made the pattern and it looks alright, but I'm having an issue with some of the colors and I'm not sure how to go about fixing them. There's a lot of green in the pattern where I think it would look better a dark grey or dark grey-blue. Also, there's a random pink thrown in there, too, where it should be grey, I believe.

I'll post the pattern and the original picture, and if someone would be so kind as to try and adjust the colors so it looks more like it should and let me know which colors have been changed, I would greatly appreciate it. I already have my fabric cut, so if you could not resize it, I'd appreciate it! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. :D

Thank you! I'll definitely be posting progress pics. Yours looks great, too. I love the colors you used. I'm pretty excited to start working on this, but I just need to figure out the colors first.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey leannerd, have you checked the actual floss colours themselves? If you look at the floss in real life it often looks different from on screen. I noticed the pinky colour you mentioned is 762, but I have a 762 here on my desk and it's not pinky at all. However, sometimes KGChart does get it wrong and that's why I always check the flosses before I start stitching :)
So, if you don't mind spending a little bit of time gathering and checking the floss, I'd suggest giving that a try. If there's any colours you're not happy with, try a different floss. I know this adds extra time onto your project but you might find it's worth it ;)

Actually, I've got all my thread and the pink is DMC#3799. It looks gray on the pattern, but the thread is more of a flesh color. I guess I'm just going to go through it and have some extra gray shades handy to fill in whatever doesn't look right.

Thanks anyway!
