If BMH or Tnitnetny say it's ok, I will put the clouds back on. For now thought, they have been removed.

I'm sorry I missed it the first time guys. I didn't see that she had changed the square. That rule is aimed at people that want to take different elements or different characters from parts of a game and combine them into one square. We don't want that. We want an actual screen shot, title screen, or even a character portrait (like some of the amazing ones like Halo in the past). The clouds in the background are fine. I agree I think it makes it pop and look good. We all will make little adjustments and not have exact pixels per stitch. As long as it is true to form (no adding in a princess in the background) and makes it look better, I completely agree with the change.Mishatu wrote:SofaraStarfyre wrote: My question is, is the one I made ok to use even though the background isn't exactly from the New Super Mario Bros Wii game or no? If no that's ok, I am just trying to work out some squares to replace some of the ones I had initially planned to do and now don't much like...I should think that, according to these rules, you can't. But I'm not in charge or even participating, so who am I to say much of anything? :/* Must be a scene from a video game, no original creations or just logos. It can be an opening or closing shot, the scene doesn't have to be within the game.
* You can stitch a single character as long as it fills most of the square and the specific game can easily be identified. For example a Kirby would not be accepted, although this Kirby would: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a6/tnitnetny/kirby.jpg. It is obviously from Return to Kirby's Dreamland.
