What crafts do you do? There is glow in the dark for almost every craft.

Re: OCT - NOV Challenge - Glow in the Dark!
My friend that knits/crochets says she used to get glow in the dark yarn from a manufacturer called Bernat, I googled it but it seems the yarn is discontinued. I did find JellyYarns though, and while I don't know if they or their products are any good, the pictures certainly look interesting! http://www.jellyyarns.com/yarns.shtml#super_frostcelticflame723 wrote:I crochet and knit!
I also found a couple of bits of help on Craftster. One was a link for a Korean company, http://www.glowyarn.co.kr/ and another was a name, Nightlights glow in the dark yarn (although I suspect that one may be discontinued as well!)
Hope that helps!

But i have to admit, shipping takes very long, it's about 3 weeks to ship it to Belgium. But they do have lovely stuff!

Re: OCT - NOV Challenge - Glow in the Dark!
Ordering my fabric today! I am torn though. Do I make my question mark block quilt and have the "I'd hit that" in glow fabric, do I make a shy guy with Glow fabric (so just his face lights up), or do I make an entirely new quilt and make a white mage with glow fabric?
The fabric I am getting is white and on sale, so I am thinking of getting a bunch: http://www.fabric.com/ProductDetail.asp ... 53e7a039a6.
Bah. Decisions.

Nevermind. My fantastic husband just gave me a wonderful idea! This may be the hardest applique I have tried so far, but it will be worth it.

Well not DMC or any embroidery thread at Joanns...but they do have glow in the dark sewing thread...you would just need to double the amount of strands you would normally use of embroidery thread. Don't know about hobby lobby...Kevin18875 wrote:Might attempt this. I know you can get glow in the dark thread at AC Moore if anyone has that store near them. I assume JoAnne Fabrics as well, and i think maybe Hobby Lobby. Those are the ones near me, but im not sure about everyone else. Just offering suggestions to anyone in the US, of if those companies are worldwide. not sure if they are, just offering advice.
