OCT - NOV Challenge - Glow in the Dark!
Now, I remember a bunch of you wanted to do interesting things with glow in the dark stuff. So here's your opportunity!
No real limitations or rules except that at least one part of your item must glow in the dark!
You can use the thread / blending filament, perler / hama beads or even glow in the dark paint if you have any (that stuff is awesome!)
I've decided to allow more time for this challenge, because I realise that some of you may not have any of the stuff and would obviously like to get some! And shipping / delivery being what it is, you want time to make your item too!
If I can help in any way, such as sourcing thread or patterns or whatever, please ask! I will do my best to assist!

Any idea where I can get glow-in-the-dark thread? Like is there a website anyone has tried with success? All my local crafting stores (including the big names) don't have any.

I really couldn't say for your location. I'd suggest trying online shops and ebay sellers. Failing that I would be happy to get a skein or two and send it to youDuckyBelkins wrote:Any idea where I can get glow-in-the-dark thread? Like is there a website anyone has tried with success? EDIT: Just realised you said websites, lol. Still asleep!

Might attempt this. I know you can get glow in the dark thread at AC Moore if anyone has that store near them. I assume JoAnne Fabrics as well, and i think maybe Hobby Lobby. Those are the ones near me, but im not sure about everyone else. Just offering suggestions to anyone in the US, of if those companies are worldwide. not sure if they are, just offering advice.

I got some last month at Hobby Lobby; the brand is Artiste and it came with a card of white glow floss and standard greenish glow floss.
Current projects: blackwork Macintosh, Super Mario World - Star Road map, Super Mario World - Full Map!
