Sprite Stitch Board!

I'm about 1/2 way done...with the larger of my pieces so I probably wont be done until mid october......oi vei

I have 2 projects about 95% completed...just have to do the final finishing touches. Still bouncing a couple more ideas around and I have plenty of time to do them within the swap constraints, but I have about 15 other projects lined up as well, so...we'll see what happens.

I'm having a hard time figuring out the balance between too small and too big (in regards to what I want to do). It must be really bothering me because I keep having dreams where I come on here and accidentally give away who my partner is and what I'm making.

I have made 3 small things so far. but considering making a fourth. Is that going to much overboard ?

That horrible moment where you go to your craft store for more thread and they haven't had a delivery for who knows how long so they don't have ANY of the colours you need...out of a range of about 450 colours! What are the frickin' odds?

i finished my gift yesterday, and have just sent it off, so you all should be waiting impatiently for the mail to come

Oh God!! I know that feeling too well!

I started getting back into cross-stitching right before cross-stitching became so popular again. So I was really surprised when I found out that the thread the store didn't have was gone because that's how much of it people had bought in the last week.

Yeah

well the odds are number of colours / 452

I been after 1 colour before
Spotlight all sold out of it, cross the road to Lincraft also out, its like somebody had come in and bought all the stock of that colour. Trek to the other side of town to one of the independents, had 1 skein in stock.

If you would like somebody to get them for you and send them to you let me know.

I'm in the same boat. I figure since this is my first swap, I should go all out. Plus the feeling that someone will enjoy and appreciate what you made them is cool. Unlike my bf who always loses the stuff I make him and is always like, "it'll turn up". AGH! So annoying!
