Tiny stitches must be this swap's unofficial theme. I need to take a break and find my glasses!

Just went through my fabric stash to pick out fabrics for my swap gift. OMG, I have a fabric problem. I always forget how much is there until I actually take it out and touch it. Ok, to work on the gift!

Tell me about it. I just got some fabric in the mail today that I know I won't have time in the forseeable future to start the project I got it for...

I should probably stop the habit of buying fabric before I have time to actually make the thing, but it's so much more fun this way!

Don't worry ladies, I do the same thing also! I found an awesome Aussie website that stocks fabric in every conceivable colour, count and size so I've been buying up every pay day for projects that are only a dream at the moment!

I'm just doing 1 big gift for my buddy (that, um, definitely meets the size requirements, sure)... it's made up of about 400 little pieces, so that should be okay.......

I someone can verify for me, I have a project lined up for my swappee (that honestly may or may not make it, but anyway) that will be bigger than the size restriction, but only when framed. Just on the fabric it comes in under size. I haven't started it yet just in case but I wanted to know beforehand.

At some point in this thread, BMH said they would look the other way for rule bending on size, since I asked because I'm a quilter so my thing will be larger than 8" square (though I have some really creative ways to prove that it fits  ), so you should be fine. Or we'll be running from the crafting police together ... and riding chocobos to escape :choco

I wouldn't worry about it too much. My piece will also be larger then 8 inches square one framed too. I would say that so long as the piece itself is under the maximum size, you should be ok.
