Msstitcher and I agreed that it would be easier for me to post the pics of what I made for her since I already have them. The coloring in the photos isn't ideal, but oh well. One of the things she loves is Lord of The Rings, so I embroidered her the Door to Moria:

It was based on this pic:

Stitching the tiny Elvish was the hardest part. I also framed it for her:

Not an ideal photo, but you get an idea of what it looks like. The frame is more red in person, and all the stitching is in DMC 300, so it's a rich brown.
She also loves Dune (as do I) so this is the pic I used to make her a card:

That picture's so awesome.
Well, I really enjoyed making msstitcher her gift, and I hope she loves it! :D

I now have pictures! LucyInTheSky sent me my goodies, and they are amazing! :D First up, the smaller gifts:
Spoiler
Image
Some variegated thread (I'll have to come up with a pattern that uses it!), a thread catcher, made with Day of the Dead-themed fabric, and some colour catchers. But what are the colour catchers for?
Spoiler

I'm standing on a sofa in this picture, so that light on the ceiling wouldn't normally look that close to the floor.
Oh. My. God. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this - a Fawful quilt with a lovely purple background (if you've never played Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, do, it's a great game). I have problems describing how happy this quilt makes me. Something like this -> :yahoo: :clapping: Thank you so much!

I'm really glad you like it!! It was fun to make. And it's smaller than the quilts I usually make, so, umm, it counts for the mini swap...

You are most welcome and enjoy!!
