No, technically a pattern thief is someone that grabs a pattern of something someone is currently working on and completes it before the original person does. This is why she doesn't want to put the pattern up before she finishes.

some wip pics!
As you can see I use some extra srting to get the pictures right position in the fabric.
I'll do the outlines first so after that I can cut the fabrit into the right size and tka it with me to some lectures.
I've suddnle got busy. Couple of weeks ago I thought I couldn't get in to english cource, but for my suprise I landed a spot in the original group (the teachers decided to have en exra group, since there was so many who wanted to take the cource). Two week of intensive cource in english
And after that two weeks in a chemistry lab.

Wow, can't believe the progress on people's projects since I last checked. Everything's looking great and I can't wait to see more finished products!
I've been away taking a break for a little while but have managed to get in some stitching. Here's some updates on my WIP.
It's not turning out as I hoped, the octagon is in the middle but when I started adding the words it seemed to look lopsided to me. Several people have said it doesn't matter and that it's only me that sees it that way though lol

I'll be filling in the background when all the foreground stuff is complete.
On a side note I'd like to thank my sister for use of her brand new camera!

Hi everybody !
Seeing all these wonderful projects, I thought I could never compare, but I finally got inspired and I'm trying to do a Chocobo bag in appliqué. The Chocobo will be a little...special!
Hope it's not too late to join!
Pictures very soon (everytime I want to use my camera, the batteries are dead, I think that's a curse)

I found another camera, so here's a picture of the current state of my project:

To give you an idea, the square is approximately 13 cm (a bit more than 5 inches).
The black lines are backstitched, and the eye, beak and legs are painted with fabric paint.
Now I have to stitch the outline (that's the hard part!) and make it more... special. ^^
What do you think?

Its looking good.
I've dipped my toes in the sea, so to speak, and bought Final Fantasy IV The After Years on WiiWare. I got it last night and I'm quite enjoying it even though I died 3 times right at the start and had to go through the start story again before I got a chance to save. I'm not sure what I'm doing but I'm enjoying it.
