As long as it's not above 40C and you definitely do not put it in the dryer, I think it *should* be ok. But if in doubt, just hand wash it.

that is the stuff of nightmares! I'm glad it can still be used, I'm sure that was a horrifying experience.

All I could do was stare at it with my mouth open for a few minutes before going into problem-solving/panic mode, haha. :swoon:

Maybe I'll just stick to hand-washing. I don't want to make it any worse or shrink it or something equally unpleasant. :sorry:

We need to make sure it won't bleed anymore when washed in a washing machine in cold water though. Remember when the quilt is finished, it can't really be handwashed.

Got your squares Gamerrwolf! I see what you mean about the dark square. I hoped that the picture washed it out, but it really didn't did it? Would it hurt your feelings if we had one extra square if that was the one I didn't use? I could always send it back to you.

I won't know until next week of course when I sit down and count the final number of squares.

I made this just for fun... sadly I had a huge varity of lighting situations so the colors don't match up and you can clearly see that I used a hoop ;)

Feel free to exclude that square I totally was prepared for that! That's why I made the pikachu one!

Maybe there is a little hope for it though it still hasn't been washed....maybe it'll lighten up? But I'll be fine either way, my feelings won't be hurt! :P

Aww, I feel like that was partly my fault. I didn't mess with the colours at all, because they looked like the source image. I should have messed around with it in Photoshop first, sorry >_<

I am hoping it will lighten up when I wash it, but unfortunately the colors make it seem like a square of black. It is really hard to see the picture in it. I am still going to wash it and like I said, I may still need it, but won't know until I have my final count.
