One color of my DMC thread bled! I've never had that happen before. How can I fix that without ruining my stitching? Or *fingers crossed* will it not be too noticable in the finished quilt? I had hoped to put them in the mail tomorrow. Help please!
I gotta ask this too. I've also never had DMC thread bleed. I hope it's not one of those fake DMCs I see around sometimes.tnitnetny wrote:Yeah I also have to ask if it was DMC? I have never had any DMC thread bleed like that!
Definitely! I'm just glad it can be saved, it was a lot of work!tnitnetny wrote:Luckily, it will not be noticed in the final quilt. If you could, put a note on it (like I couldn't see if bled, but just in case) and I will wash it a few times just in case until I know it won't bleed anymore. We can't have it bleeding into the fabric of the quilt after it was made.
