Thanks for your answer Gamerwolff, I'll try to write for a refund, you're right (I've got nothinig to lose)...
Your squares are fabulous, how did you managed to stitch so much... !!!
The Kingdom Hearts is dark, it's true... ;-( did you use DMC #939 (dark marine blue) ? I change it now, when KG chart suggests it ; I think it's too close to black #310...
The other squares look great, you did a wonderful work !

Yes it was 939 mostly. :banghead: I didn't have the right tools to make it lighter so I posted the pattern and ended up doing one that blackmage graciously made for me.

When I get my tax refund next year I'm going to invest in a few other charting programs so I have options.... but until then I'm rolling with KG which for a free program is awesome. :clapping:

And thanks for your kind comments about the others.

I also manage to stitch so much because one I'm seriously like blackmage fast and I'm also currently a stay at home mom. Which believe me is a job in itself. :worried:

It is but at least you can stitch while you do it! (and people don't look at you funny).
I think the camera flash washed out a lot of the dark details in the photos so it's hard to tell the diffrent colors. When in doubt, you can always change them. I know I did on one of my squares... hopefully sooner rather than later... (not on these! - they're done).
I know I picked out over 1000 stitches on my Ghost Trick square and wanted to kill myself/it but in the end, it was worth it.

gamerwolff I love your squares! I'm glad there was somebody willing to make so many this year because I've just had my hands so full for months!
I think they will look fine when washed/stretched/ironed. Cameras don't usually pick up the subtle differences, especially between 310 and 939. It's hard enough for the human eye to distinguish those two colours!

I agree! That's my current job too. 24/7. No help. The only salvation is stitching and gaming!
Now that I think about it, that might be why we are so speedy. Gotta fit in as much stitching as possible before spawn awakening/feeding/whatever time :D

Yes....I usually end up putting my little one down and before I know it its like 5 am and a quarter of my stitch is done!

And being a stay at home mom I just want to say thank god for netflix!!!! keeps me sane!

I'm a stay at home mom too and I homeschool too. The only thing that keeps me sane is my tv shows and my music otherwise I'd be nuts between my 10 yr old son and my dog... I wish I was as fast at stitching as you Gamer. I don't know how you do it. This was my first go round with 16 ct. and it slowed me down a lot as I am used to 14 ct.

And I agree about DMC 310 and 939. My square that I got done for this years quilt had a TON of both and it is practically impossible to tell the difference without a bright light in close proximity to it. Huge pain to deal with. There was also a dark brown in that pattern too that was hard to distinguish as well from black and I can't remember what it was now..

DMC 3799 is about as dark of brown there is and yes it is really close to black also. Yeah without really bright light mine just looks like a black square with a few squiggles lol.
