These are the two squares I'm putting in the mail today. I can't wait to do more for next year, and now that I know about it, I can start my designs a lot earlier and get more done. And yet again, I forgot to document the start & end dates for these so I can't even judge how much time it took. You'd think after over fifteen years of cross stitching, I would remember to note my dates? Oh well.

All of the squares look amazing so far! So excited!! My Sword and Sworcery one is probably 2/3 done! There's just an awful lot of the same colour. Need to motivate myself to keep going. I'll have it done in a couple of weeks, I expect. Still haven't posted a picture of the Curse of Monkey Island one yet. Oye. Maybe at this point, I'll just post pictues of the two together.

Everyone's squares look great so far!! I got my patterns worked out for mine and just ordered the cloth and missing floss to complete them! I am hoping to finish both by mid August at the latest so I can get them in the mail.
Keep up the good work everyone!

Oh wow everyone's stuff looks so good! My Street Fighter II project is about 70% done and I'm struggling mightily to get it all done by August. I think I'll make it though, I'm getting better at sticking to a deadline. I'll send it and my completed Bionic Commando at the same time. I forget is it necessary to wash and iron them first or just send them as is?

It is up to you. I will be washing and ironing all of them when I get them so you don't need to. But some people like to have their own pictures of the work and in that case if you wash and iron it would be ok (I am still rewashing and reironing).

I love your Commander Keen square. Was my favourite game as a kid. How did you get a screenshot to make the pattern?

I just did a google search for the Commander Keen game. Then using PC Stitch 10, I did the option to make a pattern out of a photo. I turned the number of colors down to like 10 or 15. LOL originally I tried to do it with 50 colors, but after about five minutes I realized the color changing after a few stitches would drive me nuts! I still play this game to this day. It's one of the reasons I won't part with my PC and go completely to my ipad!

I don't think my square is going to be done on time - I've been really ill for the last few months, and my crafting time has suffered

I took my name off the spreadsheet.
I'll keep plugging away at it; it will definitely be ready for next year's quilt

I got your squares sometime over the weekend. They were waiting for me when I got home. Very nicely done!!

tnitnetny, I think I got a problem with my square. I just realised that I used 18 ct instead of 16 ct (I was confused because it's not the same system in France). My square's height is actually 14.90 cm instead of 15.20 cm, which is a difference of 0.2". Will you still accept my square or should I just redo it?
