Great work, gratch!

I've finally gotten around to posting a wip of my Pikmin 2 patch, and here it is -

I've had some distractions during this patch (some personal, some video game related, and just dealing with my own terrible attention span in general). I'm currently stuck at this point in progress due to colour choices, and still quite a few colours to go, so I'm probably going to leave this patch at the moment, and move onto my FFXIII patch.

I have finally finished my Dune square! Unfortunately, I have a lot of stuff going on right now and will probably not be able to finish my Final Fantasy IX square in time, which makes me sad. I've updated that on the spreadsheet.

Here is a pic of my square, fresh off the hoop:

Looking good so far!
I haven't made any more progress on Spyro atm, as I was out of town for a week but that will change soon.

I just recently came back onto sprite stitch. Yay!! Schools out for summer!! Would love to do a square for the quilt.
My pick was Double Dragon from SNES, would like to know if this would be okay,
and I can't decide if I would like the square to be the good guys or bad guys??

Here's the .sth file and the image.
The .sth has a rough square outlined of either the good or bad guys.
Let me know what you think, and who should I choose?
The good guys are more easily recognizable, but the bad guys have great colors.
As soon as I get the go ahead, I'll run out and get any colors I need and get started ASAP!!

Double Dragon, Final Fight, same thing. Well not really. Completely different, actually.
One game has a couple of guys trying to rescue a female from a gang of thugs, and the other has a couple of guys trying to rescue a female from a gang of....OH.

I would definitely go for the good guys, everyone knows Cody and Guy, right? I would probably make the square so the guys are more centered, and there's less barrel peeking in at the side, but that's just me. Apart from that, cool choice! :D

Hahaha! My fiance saw this post and said, "WELLLLL ACTUALLY...in Final Fight they are trying to rescue the Mayor's daughter. Geez, see the distinction." LOL! He cracks me up! he's the reason I began cross stitching video games, its the only way I was able to get him interested in my crafting :D

That's exactly what I was thinking, that people would be able to easily recognize the game if Cody and Guy were in it.
And thanks for the input, I was hoping to get the barrels in since I thought they were cool, but I can't fit them enough, and yeah, you wouldn't be able to figure out what they even are from that tiny sliver.

Did I need admin. approval for the square? If yes, then YAY!! I can't wait to get started! I'm getting ready right now to go see Prometheus!! And after I'm stopping at Michaels to get any threads that I dont already have in my arsenal

Well...last I checked the Mayor's daughter was a female!
Ahh..seems like so long ago that I was playing DD and FF on my Amstrad. Wait...it was so long ago. Damn!

Anyway, as long as it's not taken on the list you can get cracking as soon as you like! :D

Guess what I finally finished this afternoon?

I have no idea how many colours I ended up using. It started off with 62, but I cut it down a little in the process of stitching. Watching the announcment of Pikmin 3 live at E3 particularly inspired me to want to finish this.
