1) I'd noticed it sooner or
2) there weren't so many stitches of this color!
As it is I need to rip out almost an entire skein's worth of stitches... -head desk- I feel pretty stupid.

I was totally almost in rage tears today trying to pick colors. I feel you.. not one single color KG picked is correct for my square.
We need a support group for Charity squares!!!
Not to try to "best" you or anything... but... I had a friend over and was showing off my two completed square (Sam and Max and Super Mario World). She makes the offhand comment that the Sam and Max one looks smaller. After she leaves, I begin obsessing. Turns out when I made the pattern, the count was 92x93. WTF?!?! What was I thinking?!?!?! Soooo... I have to add to the pattern, somehow, and then stitch it to the square. *FACEPALM*
If it happened to someone else, I would LOL. It happened to me though

I've calmed down now, it felt good to vent in the post XD Thanks for that DA.
@Jadley - that sucks but luckily it should be pretty easy to fix as long as you have the original screen cap. I was so paranoid about messing up the # of rows on my pattern (grr areas of solid color) that I made a running stitch 5 squares up, 5 squares down around it to measure it. So far it's the right dimension...

Okay, I've run into a dilemma and I could use your input.
I was going to start on the ground colors for my Attack of the Mutant Camels square and I think that the dark purple color that KG chart chose is too blue in comparison to the medium purple. The medium purple is DMC 3837 and the dark purple that I'm questioning is DMC 939. I'm thinking of changing the 939 to 550 but I'm not sure about it.
What do you guys think I should do?
The image I'm working from is posted at viewtopic.php?p=37285#p37285

As mentioned before, purples do not chart well...
939 is a dark navy blue, I wouldn't use it. If I'm looking at the right color, the "dark purple" is almost brown. How about a color like 154 which is a dark plum?
And with the way my monitor is displaying it, 553 is a dead ringer for the "light purple."

I just realized that the picture I linked was my KG chart preview and not the original source image.
So here's the REAL original image.

Definitely some color difference there. Looks like that ground is supposed to be a brown and an almost neon purple. I can't believe I was so far off in my charting! I'm glad I didn't start with either of those colors.
Now I'm thinking maybe 902 or 938 for the dark color and 553 looks like a very good choice for the light color.[/color]

Alright so I have 3 images that I need to choose from for my Lunar 2 square.
I have no idea which one to choose! I have made patterns for the top and middle and they have 50+ colors and the third one just came out...bad when I tried to make it. Any opinions on which to do?
