I'll look into this and see what I can come up with in time for the next swap.purcell_a05 wrote:Next time we do a swap we should have a swap-wide paypal fund for people who what to use UPS or FedEx.

My package will be sent today, courtesy of my husband making the trip to the post office while I work. Yay!

Ditto I think it will likely be sent out on the 30/31st. I only have the backgrounds left but very little time to finish it off. I feel bad my swap partner has to wait.techno-ninja wrote:I'm running a little late with mine

Just sent mine around 7 minutes ago. Decided to pay the extra and go with registered post, so I can keep track of it. Anyway, my victim can expect it within 2 weeks, hooray!

I'm sure it'll be worth the wait for whoever gets it!corbin wrote:Ditto I think it will likely be sent out on the 30/31st. I only have the backgrounds left but very little time to finish it off. I feel bad my swap partner has to wait.techno-ninja wrote:I'm running a little late with mine

I love that case Lijnloos made! Looks perfect for carrying around your current project.
I had quite a scare this week! I'm in the middle of moving so I put all the floss colors I need for my swap gift together in a ziplock. That way I wouldn't have to search trough a lot of boxes for my craft supplies. Sounds smart, right? Of course I ended up losing that ziplock
while all my other craft supplies were right in front of me. I only have one skein of each color and absolutely no time to go to the store, so you can imagine the stress I was in. Thankfully I found it last night, after a weekend of searching through boxes, the exact thing I wanted to avoid in the first place
Anyway, I'm making progress again and it should be no problem now to finish on time.

I'm running a little late as well. I had to finish my independent study Calc II class by Oct 18 so I was scrambling before I left for vacation on Oct 11. I brought my supplies with, then found out if you've only ever stitched on 14 count aida, 28 count is horrific! So once I got home on the 20th, I had to restart on 18 count, so hopefully my partner won't be too mad that they've had to wait so long and that it will be a bit bigger than I originally planned. Hopefully the item itself will make up for it! I've been stitching every chance I get, I'm determined to get this out on time!

If you're running behind, don't worry! Just take it easy, do your best and try not to panic! And if it makes you feel any better, I haven't sent mine out either
