I was hoping to have mine off very soon as well, but only using the colors I have hasn't turned out so well. I'm gonna have to go to the store and get a couple more colors, and I think I've decided to fill in the background as well, so it may be another week or so yet!

I finally got started today only to goof TWICE and have to pull out a couple hundred stitches both times. Dangit!

Oh my gosh...I absolutely HATE when that happens. It happened to me on the first gift I made for this swap. Luckily, it was small enough I could just scrap it and start over because I didn't feel like picking out the stitching. Hope the rest of the stitching goes smoother for you!

First part of mine is 99% done, just waiting on an essential piece of the puzzle. So, while I do that, I'm in the planning stage of my second part!

ooooh....ouch....ripping metallic thread is a bi*** to rip out...I use this tool to just rip out the stitches and start over. its very precise and hard to cut anything out you dontwant out.

I finally got one piece I need to stitch on for a piece I'm sending! And it fits a theme, it's called 'video games,' it's not cheating! >_> <_<
I mean, they'll love them. So that is all that matters!

I've got to hold off until this rotten cold leaves, I can't focus my eyes long enough to make anything! Plus i don't think my swappie would like a germ filled gift! should be back on track by the end of the week though
*just had a thought- every time i enter a swap i seem to get ill, coincidence? D:

Can't believe some people have already sent theirs!

Absolutely loving the CSI Cross Stitch spoof! Just about to start the second part, but am relieved that we still have a while.
