I was hoping to have mine off very soon as well, but only using the colors I have hasn't turned out so well. I'm gonna have to go to the store and get a couple more colors, and I think I've decided to fill in the background as well, so it may be another week or so yet!

Oh my gosh...I absolutely HATE when that happens. It happened to me on the first gift I made for this swap. Luckily, it was small enough I could just scrap it and start over because I didn't feel like picking out the stitching. Hope the rest of the stitching goes smoother for you! :good:

First part of mine is 99% done, just waiting on an essential piece of the puzzle. So, while I do that, I'm in the planning stage of my second part! :D

ooooh....ouch....ripping metallic thread is a bi*** to rip out...I use this tool to just rip out the stitches and start over. its very precise and hard to cut anything out you dontwant out.

I finally got one piece I need to stitch on for a piece I'm sending! And it fits a theme, it's called 'video games,' it's not cheating! >_> <_<

I mean, they'll love them. So that is all that matters!

I've got to hold off until this rotten cold leaves, I can't focus my eyes long enough to make anything! Plus i don't think my swappie would like a germ filled gift! should be back on track by the end of the week though :)
