Mine is coming along very well too. It's a lot of stitching, but I can already tell that I'm going to be very pleased with it. It's exciting!

So, I'm attempting a different craft this time. I got the materials (gorgeous!) from a local store, I happily started the project and... two days later I had to stop due to back strain. Why does it have to happen to me every time I try a new craft?! :banghead:

Making my pattern tonight then will pick any supplies I need up this weekend. Found a new must have game thanks to my secret partner lol. Now to not purchase the game til I finish the swap so I don't get sidetracked.
A Stitch is Worth... How much is a stitch worth?

Metallic threads aren't that bad once you get used to them. You shouldn't treat them the same as floss though, there's a thread on here somewhere that deals with them... I remember posting in it.

I've gotten one of my gifts stitched - it's kind of silly but's cute. Now I just have to make a run to the store for some new colors...

Still in the midst of pattern making, but once I get them all down, I'll be set! Exams decided to come up, so during my study breaks (not now, obviously), I'll be working on them. I'm having a ball on thinking up different things to do!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has trouble with the metallic thread! I have used one thread of it just to add a little something and looks quite good. Just have to make this one up into the "SECRET" lol
Isn't it great how so many people are not only trying new things but discovering new games too! So glad I joined up for this as it has been brilliant already! :good:

I totally agree!
I'm trying to mix it up a little too.
Next week I'm going to try the sewingmachine for the first time :D
Wish me luck ;)

I keep seeing people talking about more than one gift... are we supposed to be giving our secret person one thing, or multiple things? Just want to make sure I don't under perform...
