Since I had my camera out I figured I'd post a wip of my first square. I ended up doing the smb3 warp pipes since I had all the colors on hand after this is done will move onto my zelda square then final fantasy although I still have no clue what to do for my final fantasy square.

Went and bought my colors for my next square yesterday. It's going to be more challenging than this, but I'm excited to start!

I know there's 29 pages but I'm being lazy and reading only the 1st one, so I apologize if this has already been volunteered... I could help put the quilt together. I'm a quilter who does a little cross stitching. I teach Geometry and my classes each make a 9.5" quilt square by hand (though they can use a machine if they have one). 9.5" is incredibly variable and I put them all together. Here's a link for my quilt from 2 years ago: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-28289-1.htm. I'm working on one now for this year's class (with 19 school days left! ). So the point being, I do have some skill at making blocks go together when they're not exactly the same size.

Additionally, I just bought a long arm (huge machine that makes machine quilting (the thread design that you can see on a finished quilt) much easier), so if someone else put the quilt top together, I would be happy to do the actual quilting and binding on it.

I don't know how often I'll check back on this thread, but please PM if you decide you want me to help with any of this!

I've been stitching for 5 hours straight tonight, trying to get that black all filled in. I'm going cross-eyed!!
