Don't worry about having too many squares guys. I would rather be over the amount we need then under. I can always turn the extra squares into throw pillows!

If you're not doing the Dr. Mario one, could I steal that as my square? I still want to fiddle with a Plants Vs. Zombies one but would like to make sure I have one done first. Take the pressure off when I'm trying to come up with a pattern.
I wasn't sure whether or not crabbyman wanted to still do Dr. Mario, so I switched my top choice to something that hadn't been represented. If he doesn't want Dr. Mario, it's all yours. :D

To the quilters: Do you have a preference about whether the squares are pre-washed? Do you plan on washing them all when you receive them?

As far as the Final Fantasy quilt, if I get DK done in a reasonable amount of time, I'd like to do a close-up of Sephiroth's face.

I can't believe no one picked Tetris yet! Could I do it? I'm pretty new to cross stitching, so I can't promise it will look good. I wouldn't want to ruin the quilt :sorry:

I will be washing them all when I receive them and then again when the quilt is finished. So if you don't prewash it isn't a big deal, they will get washed again anyways.

Hey, ladyteaspoon, sure you can do tetris it'll be a good addition.

I'd still like to do Dr. Mario, but if someone really has their heart set on it I can pass, just let me know.

Here is a couple of ideas I had for my Chrono Trigger square for the misc quilt.

I think I'm leaning towards doing the group shot one instead of the scene based one. What do you think?

I have to admit, as soon as I saw the group shot one I fell in love with it, but I kinda like the portal... maybe changing the "C" into a portal? best of both worlds...

Oh, poop. For some reason I had 14 count stuck in my head instead of 16 count, so I bought the wrong fabric today :(. I need to go back to the store tomorrow anyway to pick up a few more colors, but I was all ready to get started tonight. I even had the square mapped out and everything. :sorry:

Hmm, my local craft shop didnt have 16-count (only 14 aparrently, though i've bought 18 there in the recent past)... so i'll have to go and find some somewhere else... Will start the hunt soon! I've calculated that I will need 1.40 x 0.50 meters of fabric for 3 squares... Hope that will fit the quilt makers ;)
