Personaly, I wouldnt mind a nice bookmark, I love to read but don't have a nice one yet (only some cheap-ass-advertisement-thing from the bookstore I got with a book)... so my swapper shouldnt feel bad if they only got the idea for a bookmark...

Now, finding a project-item to make/think of...
Too bad my order of plastics and other stuffies won't be in soon, maybe not even before the end of the month (the disadvantage of ordering from the US when you live in Europe).

yeah miss nelyra, you have the point of it all.

I'm not going to make any rulings, I'm not really big on rules in the first place. the problem is when youre trying to do any sort of a swap is that you need people making similar items. You don't want one person spending an hour or two and someone else spending 30 hours. or one person spending $5 while someone spends $100. the rules are just trying to set up a level playing field, so everyone feels like they have put in equal effort and received the same.

so, do what you feel is appropriate. in the end it doesnt matter, having fun and making stuff for strangers is the point! and hopefully theyll be less of a stranger after this...

Good that kind of answers my question. I was thinking of the size thing. I have all kind of crazy ideas competing for attention in my mind some very small and some bigger but still small but I also wan't to leave extra fabric around so if someone wants to frame it or do wathever they like it will be a bit extra to work with. And since I think that's appropriate as long as it doesn't turn into a big project I might go for that ;)

It was working fine for me, but if it's still giving you trouble you can use http://sdb.drshnaps.com/ It's an alternate version of the site, but doesn't have as many sprites or is as user-friendly.
