Luckily I made a quilt, so I just tossed it in.
When I send something that could possibly break, I get the bubble wrap from office stores and wrap and pack it in that. Try to get it in the smallest box you can with only a little room on the sides for the bubble wrap.

Re: March Challenge! - Craft Swap!!
almost finished yesterday, just need to do some sanding today. thats right, sanding.
mine will go out tomorrow (P.O. closed today) and will probably be the last to get there...its gotta go all the way from oregon to the UK! I think mine wins on longest distance traveled.
this swap was a lot of fun for me, getting to make a gift for someone i've never met. we should definitely do another one in the near future, and if people think it was a bit hectic on trying to come up with huge things to do for others, we could limit it to something smaller. like a bookmark swap, or a fridge magnet swap...

No, I think this was fatastic the way it was. I wouldn't want to do anything smaller. I would absolutely LOVE to do this again. Maybe we could make it a yearly thing after the holidays when we aren't rushed for holiday gifts anymore.

I agree - it was just right the way it was. Having said that, perhaps we could have occasional smaller swaps as well as a big annual swap?tnitnetny wrote:No, I think this was fatastic the way it was. I would definitely like to see a return of the craft swap - although I had a few delays and setbacks during the crafting...I really enjoyed making surprise gifts for somebody else
