Sprite Stitch Board!

I think I've finally settled on what I am going to do.
I've already scrapped so many ideas.
Feeling kind of anxious but excited! =P
I will be so sad if my person doesn't like it.

I know how you feel...but I'm sure it'll be fine ^^

I have the first part of my set planned out - now just to get me some supplies...and actually get started

Ooooh. That is a FANTASTIC idea. Include why we made what we did, etc. I am definitely including a blurb with mine.

Everyone knows I decided to make my person a quilt. I just have too many stitching projects going on and want to give my person something they can't do. I have the design all laid out. I am debating if I want to get fabric and start on this tomorrow, or wait until I finish packing up my apartment and work on it after. (I am moving in 1 month to move back in with my parents to get bills paid off so I can move to Canada with my boyfriend. Dad is finishing the basement so I can have a quilt room. Yay!) Either way, I will definitely get it done.

I think I'm going to do a collection bit with mine. Run with a theme but make a few tiny things and one big one. I shall have some busy crocheting time ahead of me it seems.

i'm having an issue with some sprites. i've tried spriters resource, and they didn't have the ones i wanted. anyone know of some good sites?

Well, the way I look at it is... better having something made for you than nothing at all!

The Spriter's Resource really are the best source for sprites I've found. If they don't have it, it is unlikely they can be found elsewhere. Saying that, you could try http://www.vgmuseum.com/ which has many screenshots from many different games. Thay have shots from in the games and from the ending sequences. There are also these other ones, but they aren't as well updated as TSR. Hope this helps!

you can always try a google image search of your game plus the words sprite sheet, its rare, but sometimes it works.

for me, if TSR doesnt work, I usually just download the rom/emulator aand take the screenshot myself.

Something I have done as well is to google the sprite I want and pull a screen shot of the game. If you continue to zoom in and crop the area you get a sprite!
