NOV/DEC Challenge - Common Enemies
We've crafted our way through many heroes, npcs and even villains but it's time to turn our attention to our common enemies. Whether it's one of your favourite creatures encountered on an adventure or the only enemy type in your grinding zone, the common enemies are an indispensable source of points (score or experience!) So, let's craft a bestiary of enemies!
Please feel free to use any common enemy from any game, but no bosses or unique creatures. Examples of common enemies are Cactuars, Koopas, Stalfos, etc. When you submit your entry, you should post its name and the game it is from as well. All crafts welcome!
I know this time of year can get busy for many of you so this is a two month challenge. Get your entries in by Dec 31st!

Re: NOV/DEC Challenge - Common Enemies
For my common enemy entry I decided to go with the simple Met from the Mega Man series. These jokers always pop out from under there helmets and shot you at the most inopertune times.

Re: NOV/DEC Challenge - Common Enemies
Been working on my ideas for this challenge. Still in the middle of stitching one of them, ran out of one of the floss colors though. But last night I was struck with a really bizarre thought, looking at some foamy plastic sleeve (I have no idea what this stuff is called) that I have that some electronic stuff was wrapped in something crazy came to mind to stitch something on it, specifically a Metroid. What I thought, Metroid are like jellyfish, so this would be kinda cool, if it worked and looked as I envisioned it would. It would finally give that soluble canvas that I bought some time ago some purpose. I paper clipped that to the bubbly material and started stitching. Once done I boiled some water then submerged my project into it. Hope it doesn't melt everything leaving me nothing but loose threads floating around. It didn't, just the soluble canvas stuff, leaving me with a clean and well stitched metroid with a translucent body. Cool. It worked. Now if only I knew it'd work so well I would have added more to it. Eh, but anyway, this was an experimental project after all, just happened to turn out pretty neat.
Oh crap, almost forgot, made some earrings for myself that happen to be common enemies too, the Reapette from Kid Icarus. I actually have another project currently in the layout phase involving these little guys but have to be sure I'm perfectly happy with the pattern before I start stitching it.
I'll get a pic with them in my ears sometime soon.
