So, our insurance just approved getting started on repairing our house, so it looks like we won't be getting back into it until JUNE. :cray: Since I don't want to put off starting this project anymore than I already have I'm gonna have to order all my supplies. Since I don't have access to my floss I have no way of checking how accurate the color choices KG chart made are, could I trouble one of you to double check it for me? I'm attaching the pattern file to this post.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I am no expert on color choices, but from what I can tell looking between the original picture an the pattern, that KG chart has really made a mess of the colors. It's putting dark navy/almost black in places where it doesn't belong like in Princess Leia's hair, the grey areas where it's not dark at all, and other colors are also wrong too.. Maybe someone with another program can give it a go to see if it makes any difference.
If no one else does this before I do, I'll take a look at it tonight after class. :)

I'm making progress on my Pokémon square (no pic, though :secret )

Unfortunately, the Harvest Moon square that my mom was working on might not get done in time for this year's quilt. She started it, but her hands and eyes are just not cooperating...so I'm going to have to finish it and I'm not sure that I can get both done in time. I'm sure going to give it a try, but if it doesn't happen, sorry!!! :cray:

It's ok. I don't want anyone to feel any pressure since this is for charity. I think it is safe to say we will do this every year now so it can definitely be used for next years quilt.

I'm going to have to pull out of this one. We're moving house and I'm doing a new course online and I just don't have the time to get the square finished. I've taken my name off the spreadsheet so someone else can do Yoshi's Island for the SNES if they like, but I'll still hang on to what I've done already for next year. Sorry!

OK - long time no post - things have been busy around here!
I've given up on the Pokemon square for the moment - all the confetti stitches. ugh. I just keep messing it up (noticably) :banghead: . So to stop myself from burninating it, I've switched the order and am doing the easier Sea Bass square.. after I wind these bobbins I'll be starting tonight.

Thanks!!! :nod

Done enough background that I can see some of the shapes of the characters...very excited when I realized that yesterday!

I've discovered I don't have enough time to make 2 squares this year, so I've taken PONG off the spreadsheet. :( If anyone is looking for a pattern to do, let me know. I imagine it'll stitch up pretty quickly, as there are only 2 colours. Otherwise I'll hang on to it and do it for next year's quilt.

Do you guys ever have just random mistakes? An area of my square is one stitch too thin, and I can't find where I messed up. I've had to at least triple checked everything at this point, and it all matches my pattern, except it doesn't. And it is VERY unpleasant :banghead:
