I need to get back to my Snow Bros square. I'll take/upload a WIP here in the next day or two.

rent games?... good time lol
I started working on them in late November so I got a pretty good head start. And thank you.
I was lucky growing up. My mom was the manager of the local video store so we got to rent games and movies for free. The games were mostly good, but there were definitely a lot of bad movies.

Squeeeee! 4 squares already! That is awesome. I am always worried each year that no one will finish and we won't get a quilt. I shouldn't worry anymore, you guys always pull through!
So I am going to be posting something in probably a week about the silent auction for the second quilt. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up!

Hey guys, long time no post! Long story short, I'm living in a temporary apartment while my house is repaired after having a furnace pipe burst in the upstairs and soak everything. I should be back in my house early in April so I should have enough time to complete a single square for this year's quilt.
My pattern is from the game Tiny Star Wars!

Alright, I'm gonna throw my hat in for one at first. I really wanted to have Flammie on a square, so I am hoping I can make this work:
I'm having a little trouble getting King Truffle to not just have a blob for a face. I may have to just backstitch his eyes and mustache.
I have to true-up some of the colors but it also still looks rather blurry to me - tips?
Am I not using enough color options? I haven't yet messed around with larger patterns in KG.

Please don't backstitch. I thought I mentioned it in the rules but may not have, but backstitching won't hold up as nicely if it is used s a quilt.
Can anyone help with fixing the face?

Whoops, sorry! I don't see it in the rules but will make note of it....and, yes, overall pattern help (not just the face, really) would be much appreciated.

Most of my stuff was fine since I live in the upstairs, but pretty much the entire first floor of the house was ruined. Fortunately our insurance is covering pretty much everything so, that's good news at least. Unfortunately all of my craft stuff that was in my office got boxed up and placed in a storage unit while they work on the house so I have no idea whatsoever where any of it is at this moment.
